Okay, that was the most cursed rpg session I ever had.
A while ago, I applied me and a friend for the session as players 3 (me) and 4.
Player 4: I noticed the session goes until 3 AM in our time. That doesn't work for me, I'm out.
Player 5: I can take over!

Player 5: [doesn't show]
Player 6: I can take the spot!
Player 6: Oh wait, this is a two-shot? Nope, I'm out.
Player 7: Hey, I can come in.
--- Game starts ---
Player 2: I'm getting a phone call. BRB.
Player 2: That was my mom, there's a medical emergency. I'll have to drop out.
Player 7: Turns out my new meds make me incredibly sleepy. I'll have to leave.Today is the second day of the game. I wonder what's going to happen this time...

Well. It actually happened. Today, we finished the entire #DeadSuns adventure path of #Starfinder that we began about three years ago. It wasn't always easy and for a moment, it seemed like the universe might take *drastic* measures to prevent us from playing the final session, but we pulled it off.
It was definitely one of those situations where I liked the group far more than the game though. The AP had its moments, but seemed very determined to present ultra-exotic places and then make them as mundane as possible. Additionally, I think my days in very rules heavy systems are just behind me. I guess we'll see where that leaves me.

Nachdem die für gestern organisierte Runde #MasksANewGeneration ausgefallen ist, wurde es dann spontan eine Runde #EdgeOftheEmpire mit meinen liebsten #StarWars Nerds. Merke: Ein "leichter Job", um für die Rebellion Waffen an aufständische Bergleute zu schmuggeln, wird durch ein paar Piraten mit einer geklauten Raiderkorvette nicht leichter.
Und vielleicht ergibt sich daraus jetzt eine Kampagne, mal gucken.

So, neuer Hashtag für Geschichten vom Pen&Paper: #pnpDeBrief
Ich spiele weiterhin am letzten Band von #Starfinder und frage mich manchmal, wie einige Designentscheidungen zustande kommen.
Beispiel: In einer riesigen hochtechnischen Anlage müssen die SCs einen Zug besteigen, um zu dem Ort zu kommen, wo sie hinwollen. Es ist abzusehen, dass es dabei zu einem Kampf kommen wird, weil ... es ist Starfinder, es wird immer zu einem Kampf kommen.
Meine Erwartung: Die SCs besteigen den Zug, fahren los, zweiter Zug der Sicherheitskräfte schließt auf dem Nebengleis auf und man bekämpft sich bei 100km/h.
Realität: Wir kommen an der Station an. Dort feuern diverse Gegner auf uns und irgendwo steht halt ein Zug rum.
Bin mal gespannt, wie es weitergeht. -
Da ja scheinbar Leute gerne mehr Spielberichte in ihren Timelines sehen wollen, und ich nicht mehr die Zeit zum Bloggen habe, nutze ich die Gelegenheit, um von meiner Sonntags-Runde #Nahual zu schwärmen, das #PbtA Spiel über Mexikaner mit übernatürlichen Kräften, die Engel jagen und schlachten. Wir spielen nur 3-4 im Jahr, aber schaffen es, in die paar Stunden Spielzeit immer absolut krasseste Action zu packen. Es ist immer ein Feuerwerk an Drama. #pnpdeBRIEF #pnpde
