🚦 How do you create a memorable statewide road safety campaign without using shock tactics?

This was the challenge we faced when developing the #aufjepasst campaign with the Ministry for Infrastructure and Digital Affairs Saxony-Anhalt, ADAC Niedersachsen/Sachsen-Anhalt and AGFK Sachsen-Anhalt.

We have now published the full project reference on our +Pluswerk homepage. In it, you'll learn:

✅ How social media, Instagram and paid ads became key distribution channels
✅ How the TYPO3-based landing page supports the campaign

A particular highlight: The AI-generated key visuals were transformed into animated social media formats and distributed through both organic and paid campaigns.

The result is an integrated communication approach that reaches people online and offline – right where attention matters most.

⚠️ Digitale Barrierefreiheit ist längst kein optionales Thema mehr.

Mit dem Aufbau der neuen Marktüberwachungsstelle der Länder für Barrierefreiheit (MLBF) wird das Thema nun auch auf regulatorischer Ebene sichtbarer: Ein Team aus 70 bis 100 Prüfern wird aktuell aufgebaut, parallel dazu werden automatisierte Prüfprozesse für Websites, Shops, Portale und Apps entwickelt. Diese erfolgen ohne Beschwerde, ohne Vorwarnung und auf Knopfdruck.

Was viele Unternehmer und andere Anbieter unterschätzen: Barrierefreiheit betrifft nicht nur Behörden. Fehlende ALT-Texte, problematische PDFs, schlechte Kontraste oder unzureichende Tastaturbedienung lassen sich heute bereits automatisiert erkennen.

🚦 A different approach to road safety

+Pluswerk Magdeburg has launched a new traffic safety initiative in Saxony-Anhalt called #aufjepasst, together with the Ministry for Infrastructure and Digital Affairs, the automotive club ADAC Niedersachsen/Sachsen-Anhalt and AGFK (Working Group of Cycle-Friendly Municipalities).

Rather than issuing warnings and pointing fingers, the campaign uses unexpected, slightly disruptive visuals that stick in your mind and reappear at exactly the right moment.

After all, in traffic, it's often just a few seconds that make the difference. It's great to see the campaign now live, from concept to rollout: on posters, in feeds and in real life. 🙌

🤩 +Pluscamp 2024: Achieving more together

Once a year, the +Pluswerkers from our various locations come together at the +Pluscamp to learn, develop and celebrate together. This time, we met at the idyllic Müggelsee lake in Berlin for intensive workshops and inspiring team-building activities. Many thanks to Sebastian Bergmann @sebastian and Stefan Priebsch @spriebsch (thePHPcc) for their sessions on sustainable software development, to Vitaly Friedmann (Smashing Magazine) for exciting training sessions on workflow strategies, AI in design and accessibility and to Jeury Tavares (Semikolon Consult) for strengthening our communication and teamwork skills. With the new insights and methods, we can implement projects faster and more efficiently, which will lead to cost savings and higher customer satisfaction.

💻 Erster Release Government Site Builder Version 11 mit TYPO3
🇩🇪 Ein großer Schritt für die digitale Souveränität der deutschen Verwaltung

Mit dem ersten Release des Government Site Builder (GSB) Version 11 auf Basis von @typo3 Anfang Juni leistet das @itzbund gemeinsam mit dem @bmi digitale Pionierarbeit. Der GSB ist das zentrale Web Content Management System (WCMS) der deutschen Bundesverwaltung. Technisch basiert der GSB 11 vollständig auf dem TYPO3 Framework in der Version 12 LTS. Wir begrüßen es sehr, dass das ITZBund auf das etablierte, sichere und bewährte System TYPO3 als Basis für sein Web-CMS setzt. Diese Entscheidung stärkt auch TYPO3 als System und die dahinter stehende aktive TYPO3-Community, die von den zahlreichen neuen Stakeholdern aus den Reihen der Behörden profitieren wird. 🏛️
