That was Fun
Going down was easier than going up, and Chino and Cocoa raced to the bottom, laughing and shouting.
Once at the bottom, they cried up at Chiya, “Hurry, hurry or the crab will get you..”
This resulted in a peal of laughter, which ended when Cocoa pinched Chino.
“The Cocoa Crab wants and not from Chiya.”
Chino blushed, looked around, and then gave her “sister” a hug. “As long as you don’t pinch me. If you do, Chinolot will have to deal with you.”
Cocoa gave her another hug. “I promise. I love you so much.”
Chiya interrupted their touching scene by sliding down the last bit and landing right in front of them. “That was so much fun! Let’s come back to the beach tomorrow and have another adventure.”

Enough
Cocoa-chan stopped halfway up on a ledge with a marvelous view. She waited for Chino to catch up while she gazed out.
The two rested till they had their breath back. All the time taking in the view. To the left, they looked down the coast along a sandy beach. To the right, they could see a rough coastline and two of the film crew lounging on a rock. The two waved to the two crew people, Rin who took care of the set, and Nade who cooked. Rin and Nade waved back.
“Cocoa, I think this is far enough. The view is lovely from here,” Chino said.
“I think you’re right,” she replied, then looked toward the top of Ryubokuyama and shouted. “Hay, Chiya, I bet we reach the bottom first!”
“No fair,” Chiya complained, started to slide down.
“Let’s go,” Cocoa said. “Let’s show her.”

The two only glared at her as they struggled up the gray surface. Chino grumbled under her breath about her friend and "sister." "This is their idea of fun! This is what I get for listing to Rize. 'Go,' she said. 'You'll have fun.' Fun, they call this FUN!"

“Hurry up,” Cocoa yells. “What’s keeping you guys? This is wonderful exercise.”
Chino muttered, “If I had wanted exercise, I would have asked Rize along.”
“Are we there yet?” Chiya asked. “And where are we going?”
“I told you, Ryubokuyama. I hear it’s a great mountain to climb. And the view is wonderful.”
“Here it is,” Cocoa finished up, pointing to the towering mountain ahead.
She leaned against the mountains’ gray flanks, waiting for her friends to arrive.

Yet, Chinolot hesitated. This wasn’t just a monster, this was Cocoa, her beloved senpai.
As CocoCrab advanced toward Chinolot, Chinolot cried out. “Wait Cocoa. Remember, I am your beloved kohai. Onee-san, please!”
The word “onee-san” pierced through the fog of crab thoughts and CocoCrab stopped. “What am I thinking? How could I pinch my dear sister?”
As she had these thoughts, the claw melted away and Lady Cocoa was restored to her usual self.
The two embraced for a long time, without the need of a claw.

Fic: Lady Chinolot and the CocoCrab
By the time CocoCrab reached the power spot, things had gone badly amiss. Crab-like thoughts drifted through her mind. One thing remained clear: she had to find her “sister.” She needed a hug from her. A long, long hug.
She was delighted when she saw the Lady Chinolot. At last, her chance had come. She raised her claw, opening and closing it. Chinolot would not escape this time!
Chinolot was horrified at what she saw. This was the Lady Cocoa. Her beloved friend and senpai. The look in Cocoa’s eyes sent chills down her spine.
But it was her duty as a Rabbit House Knight to rid the land of monsters. Monsters, just like the CocoCrab.

This weekend I will put the final touches on my Lolita outfit. Trimming the wig, getting safety pins to hold things in place, and stuff like that. The shoes came last night. They just barely fit. Probably need to get some moleskin. (And I will be glad I also ordered slippers so I can switch to them for dancing and stuff.)
My girls are so excited about NWIdolFest and the whole dress-up thing. Rose-chan even showed up briefly.
