Learning to draw is genuinely one of the best things a system could do for itself. Giving my alters faces has gone a long way to making them feel more concrete and, as a result, bringing some stability to our system over time.
It's not a replacement for doing the work you need to do to disarm the trauma triggers. Achieving clarity and emotional and mental stability is not as simple as just drawing some dudes on a piece of paper. But being able to look at a picture and see themselves has done wonders for cementing their identities and helping them ground.

so the other day, we saw another plural person sort of ranting about "parts" and how it's wrong to say "parts" if you're plural, because in their system, their headmates aren't parts, but whole people.
