Roughly halfway through Pluribus and really digging it. There's a strong whiff of The X-Files about it (which makes sense given Gilligan's background) and it also owes a lot to Vonnegut imo.

Overall, Gilligan has knocked it out of the park again. And Rhea Seehorn is spectacular. As are the rest of the cast. Great stuff

Helen's consciousness informed them that Carol was genuinely vulnerable and in deep pain, thus they took the recommended action through Zosia for Carol's benefit.

And is Zosia Romani?

Her being in Morocco may be coincidental, given they go where needed, but her reveal to Carol seems odd unless she is Romani, or similar.

Ten best TV/streaming drama series first seen in 2025

There are/were some absolutely stellar dramatic television and streaming series that either premiered or were first seen in 2025. Apple and Netflix dominate the list with eight of the Top 10.

As residents of “The Land of Enchantment” it is especially fun to see places we know in New Mexico on both Dark Winds and Plur1bus. With these two show being so well done, they generate a lot of pride, as well.

Kudos to all the shows listed and those associated with them.

I've been watching another Karen show, All Her Fault, which has a theme of the unfair burden of the (white) mom having to always be "amazing".

Pluribus utterly destroys that concept, excellently, giving us a female character who's anything but "amazing", and the whites are so much, "no, not like that. she makes us seem bad".

We need more unlikable female characters because women are just as shitty as men.

FYI: Apparently Apple is dropping new episodes based on something other than
the typical Eastern Time used by U.S.-based streamers.

I don't know if it's GMT (Greenwich Mean Time), the literal IDL (International Date Line), or something else.

Anyway, the Friday release of episode 3 is now airing on AppleTV 👏🏿

PLUR1BUS is off to a great start with the first episode.

Beginning with a light mix of Contact (including the inaccurate depiction) and a touch of Donnie Darko (including the clouds), the episode shows a lot of what's been in the trailers and explains the origin of Carol's experience (and 11 other people in the world).
