In the movie 1408 the hotel manager says the room still uses a regular physical key because electronics don't work in room 1408. The first thing the guy does in the room is turn on a TV and look through a list of adult movies available on the hotel VOD.

sollte diese Holzhack-Szene am Anfang erklären, dass es mit der Feinmotorik der Replica nicht ganz so super hinhaut – und das #PlotHole so implizit erklären?
