Hand tools vent. Maybe this will save someone some grief and #expense if they find it with a search.
Wiha - great drivers & bits. Love 'em. Well-machined, good tough tool #steel.
But their needlenose pliers? Rubbish. I have a set of full-sized needlenose, plus their "micro" set. With both of them there's too much slop in the joint, so the jaws are never quite aligned. I don't recall if they were bad right out of the packaging, but I certainly noticed it within the first handful of usages. I have the full sized "standard" / linesman-type pliers as well, but you don't tend to notice slop because of the much shorter jaws.
Wiha's micro-needlenose pliers are no better than - or even noticeably worse than - #cheap #Chinesium ones I have.
Save your money.

I placed my flea market pliers in some organic rust remover and they came out looking much like they went in, which is much like my old pliers but once I went over them with steel wool, they became more silver. There's a small bit missing but from the left handle but it won't affect their use. I debated giving my original pliers the same treatment but that bronze colour is the patina of my ancestors. Also added red aluminium #DSG paddle shifters (replacing the stubby ones that #VW supply as stock), and selector knob with red #GTI pattern stripes. Got a thinner set of needle nose #pliers with serrated edges to yoink out plastic pins in steering wheel that hold the shifters - all the others I had were too wide by about 2mm.
Had to fork out £13 Earth Pounds to Admiral (about £5 was admin fee) to declare these for #insurance purposes - insurers do check for #mods like these, their staff monitor social media as do more observant Police officers from the Roads Policing Unit should they pull you over!
(I sometimes have to use car parks that is popular with "boy racer" types and the old bill keep an eye on these)
