I was painting Bank Cottage in Cadmore End this afternoon. It was quite chilly in the wind and gradually got overcast over the afternoon. Had a nice chat with the vicar Philip Smith and the man who lives in the house in the painting. Turns out he's got an old painting of mine hanging in his bedroom.
