I encountered a #Mystery! This apple looked normal / unblemished until after I cut it in half, when these odd markings appeared. As you can see, they are only surface-deep, the inside is not affected. Of course apples get brown spots now and then, but this... looks so intentional? Aliens?!

Human beings are generally very stupid, and only achieve anything through trial and error and an ever-growing degree of specialisation.

If we don't have a standard of expecting errors to have been made in good faith, firstly the detail of the errors goes uncorrected, and secondly conflicts are assumed to be Machiavellian manipulations for private interests. #NVC #PleaseExplain

Kann mir bitte jemand die Problematik des Wortes " Woke" erklären, ohne nur irgendwelche Verlinkungen, zu mir nicht eindeutigen englischen Texten, zu hinterlassen? Ich lese immer wieder, dass es mit diesem Wort ein Problem im Zusammenhang mit Rassismus gibt, höre es aber viel zu häufig in anderen Zusammenhängen.
