Just got #Converge #Surf2Sawa fiber internet installed as a backup because #PLDT has been down for a week. Using #Globe's #GOMO as a backup is expensive, especially if PLDT is down for more than 2 days. Surf2Sawa is P50 per day (or P200/7 days), but it only connects 6 devices wirelessly, and the LAN port is disabled. Still better than spending P400 every 2 days on GOMO while waiting for PLDT to get their sh%t done.

finally got to call #pldt!
what worked:
#gomo - effectively 1.33 pesos per minute (pwede na!)
entering someone else's phone number - you can't reach a person if you have an existing ticket on your number so hack is to use someone else's. seems like their agent either doesn't check it against the number you give them during the call or they just disregard the discrepancy -
Another reason for working outdoors: intermittent internet connection.
#PLDT fiber has been very slow these past few days. Any official advisory?
I have to use my mobile data but unfortunately, #Globe signal is weak inside the house. So I have to stay outside.
Even when it's 🔥🔥🔥. While it's been raining nonstop in parts of Luzon, it's been extremely dry in our province. And the high humidity is triggering my allergic rhinitis. 🤧

I do use #data whenever #PLDT is down. Data speed here* is well over 10Mbps. I have #Smart and #DITO. I have #Globe too but their data here is poor and customer service is hopeless. It seems data is more than sufficient when browsing and using #Slack #Zoom. Joining with screen sharing works but don't know about me* doing the screen sharing, if it'll still be good. 🤷♀️
Not sure about 5Mbps* at the new place being good enough. 🤔
Must try 5G.☝️
