@spotlightonpod getting on an editorial (#Spotify) playlist will give your streams a boost (and you'll earn a dollar, jay), but besides that..
Imo #playlisting was a trend that is no longer useful. Sure, a few people will hear your music that otherwise wouldn't have. That's nice, but it's not very useful.
