When I was tidying my studio I found two #Holga lenses, which I bought years ago and had forgotten about completely.
The lenses are known for their vignetting, blur, light leaks, lack of sharpness, distortions and generally low-fidelity.
They are interesting. Must experiment more.

Was für eine schäbige Rolle Film, die ich gerade wieder gefunden habe. Naja, gewollt schäbig: Ein Kodak #Gold200 Kleinbildfilm, belichtet mit der Plastiklinse der #DianaF und danach dann in #Rodinal 1:00 Schwarzweiß-Chemie so richtig fies grobkörnig entwickelt.

Zwei mittlerweile zehn Jahre alte Packungen Tetenal PE-Papier habe ich auch noch wieder rausgekramt - demnächst wird es also wohl mal wieder Zeit für schicke Retro-Postkarten. :smile:

Hier das Originalnegativ im "Gucki" (ich habe vor Jahren mal einen Gucki Filmbetrachter aus den 1950er Jahren von meiner Tante geerbt), der mir lieber ist als jede noch so schöne Preview am Bildschirm:

I took a #plasticlens from an old giveaway film camera and mounted it on a Sony A7iii. I'll reply to this with some snaps of the lens.

It is not as soft as I expected. I've tightened up the contrast Lightroom dehaze (+10) and clarity, but no texture or any radical AI sharpening.

There s veiling flare if it's anywhere near the sun.

This snap (my favourite from a 15 minute walk round Whitechapel) shows some real character.
