NZ5141 to Tauranga from AKL didn't make it down onto the runway. I'm guessing visibility was the issue. They're headed back to AKL.

Cathay A350 has a forward cam and you can switch on a head up display. It was fun but the altimeter was way off and the bank indicator didn't work.

I made the trip up to Land O’Lakes to see “Placid Lassie,” a Douglas C-47 Skytrain and WW2 veteran of events such as the Allied invasion of Europe on 6 June, 1944. It was at Normandy for the 75th anniversary and may be there for the 80th. I also had to have a hat. It’s another in a line of aircraft I just HAD to get my photo taken with over the years, like the B-17 “Fuddy Duddy” in 2005 in Madison, Wisconsin, and the B-25 Mitchell “Show Me” at Eagle River in 2014.
