@heleenkuiper last year's #PKMsummit24 was a great conference and convention of the pkm community. I'd love to be there again, but, as @StefanTSiegel pointed out, this year it's not possible for me. Hopefully, in 2026 again!

Nachdem ich auf dem #pkmsummit24 @nickmilo persönlich getroffen habe, macht das gleich doppelt Freude!

Die Seminarplanung ist heavily beeinflusst von meinem Projekt #NoteLab https://notelab.hypotheses.org und von der niederländischen Initiative #DigitaleFitheid #DigitalFitness, die ich auf dem #PKMSummit24 kennengelernt habe.

Now here's our (first) look back to the #PKMsummit24 in Utrecht 🇳🇱. At #NoteLab, @StefanTSiegel and I will take some time to process our notes and thoughts from the event and will share deeper insights in the future. For now, we wanted to give you our first impressions:

4.) I'm still bringing over notes from my previous vault (once a year for the last 4 years, I’ve decided to create a new one, "bUt ThIs TiMe ThE RiGhT wAy" 🙈🙊🙉)

My vaults were named #LCARS, like the well known „Library Access and Retrieval System" in the #StarTrek #TNG universe. Now I've let go the version number, because I’ve settled with the fact that no #PKM system is ever really „done“. Strong #pkmsummit24 vibes here.

#pkmsummit24 was did something. Since yesterday:

1.) I created a python script (using #GPT4) to remove all wikilinks from my daily notes in my old vault (and import them to my new one. adding links as needed. thanks, "unlinked mentions" in #obsidian!

2.) I have finally set up automatic import of my #Readwise Highlights (thanks @nicole the tutorial)

3.) I documented everything because I don't want to forget anything I've set up so far (call me an #architect or #librarian, that's fine).

Loved chatting with these ladies at #pkmsummit24 : Agnes, Dorotea, and @uanrah . This conference had an abundance of strong-minded women with strong opinions, weakly held. <3

I came to #PKMSummit24 with no objective or open question. I’m leaving with lots of new concepts and questions — and an overwhelming sense of how magnificent this community is. Every single person was generous beyond my expectations. The openness and curiosity are a beautiful thing to behold. So glad I found this crowd of deep thinkers! Here’s to growing the movement 💪

Since some folks from #academia visiting the #pkmSummit24, I decided to share my workflow on how to integrate #Zotero with #Obsidian for accessing my annotations from read journal articles into my #PKM.

I've talked yesterday to a few people who were very interested in this kind of stuff. Maybe you are, too?

She's giving a talk on making PKM observable. You have to see processes in order to improve them. Working with black boxes is no fun at all.

I guess, there are many similarities to #OpenEducation and #OpenScience.

Getting very inspired by the talks and conversations here at #pkmsummit24.
Maybe I should try more #MindGardening strategies in my note writing. For now, I've mostly been an #Architect when it comes to #PKM. Structure first, content second.
