#FitIn2025 – August edition
August… When it started at the end of week 31, it had been exactly 7 weeks since my first surgery. And it had been about 4½ weeks since the dislocated hip and surgery that followed it. It had also been 4 weeks since the loss of my furry soulmate 🌈.
I had extra restrictions after the dislocation and second surgery. Which meant that I needed to use the crutches a bit longer. Around week 33 I started to walk without crutches in the house and one crutch when outside. In week 34 I had my check-up and I started becoming crutch free… 💪🏻 Slowly I also started to practice walking more again… 🚶🏼 Sometimes “abusing” a little but agile furry Weener, who turned out to have a busload of stamina hidden in that little body of his…

Hmmmm 🤔
I tried to keep my snacking down. I tried to keep my activities up. I walked 22k steps, I rode the seated bike and hometrainer, I hung a new lamp... I've been busy... And still the scale went up instead of down.
Guess I really need to work on snacking less.
Wish that binge disorder would just leave me alone. I know I ate enough and still I can feel so hungry... 😔
But I am not giving up! -
Ugh... My lowest health score ever... 😔
I need to do better!
But this body is just so sore...
Have an xray today for my hip. Let's see what that will show up, if it shows anything at all... 🤔
Let's get to working out some.
I really need to use my dumbbells again. Get my muscles working some more! 💪🏼
Who knows? It could help against the pains? 🤔 -
Soooo being at work loads means less time to snack, apparently... Of course I had a few here and there, have to "reward" the hard work 😉.
But the weight is doing way better than I had hoped for! So that's a big win, so far!
Still hitting the gym every morning, wanna keep up the routine.
Just a few more days till the big move! 💪🏼#PixysFitJourney #WeightJourney

Sooooo my scales *totally* surprised me! One always gives me a higher value than the other (and the one in the gym). So when this one went lower than usual... 🧐
But yeah, I've reached a lowest weight in like "forever" and it's threw me off the scale 😉 (well almost!).
Dunno if I can stick to it, but I certainly am going to try. 💪🏼 -
CW: Weight talk
I got my lowest weight according to this scale since I got it in January. But... My body score is also low (for me). A few days ago I was heavier and had a score of 89, now I'm lighter and it's 84, as it tells me my muscles are less and my fat is higher...
I know it's not exactly 100% true, I wish I had an easy/affordable way to get better numbers, as I'm highly fascinated by them... 😊 -
I really need to work harder on my killer calories...
Even though I do my best to exercise and be active...
My eating disorder makes it almost impossible to lose the last bit of fat 😔.
And I know it takes time and effort. And I know I am doing rather well with keeping stable, sort of...
But still, I guess you know what I mean when I say "it's never fast and good enough". 😇 -
This morning my Medisana scale showed me 71kg. 😊
Since I got it, and I used it on and off, I searched my stats and my lowest weight since using it was 70,9 in July 2021.
I had a low weight in July 2021 and then Jan/Feb 2022 and then things went up again...
So slowly getting to my lowest weight since September 2019 made me quite happy. Let's hope I can keep it lower and maybe just gain some as muscle weight... 💪🏼 -
Slowly, I've lost some weight again!
But I also lost a few health points as it measured I lost some muscles. Which can be true as I did less strength training due to the fibro having been bad for a while now...
I added the weight info from my highest health score (April 23rd) and my lowest weight (this night).
Hopefully my muscles will get better as weather improves slowly and I can get back to strength training again. 💪🏼 -
CW: Weight talk
So this morning I was rather surprised! After some higher weights earlier this week, I got my lowest weight in quite a while now! Yay for that!
I had not expected it, to be honest. 😊
This week I did have my monthly bits so that always adds some weight to me... But I feel good knowing I didn't give up and it's slowly paying off again! 💪🏼 -
Trying to get my weight to 68/70 kgs is very challenging.
Had many ups and downs lately... Well, over the last few years, to be honest...
It's not too high at the moment. But I'm still not too pleased yet, as my fat percentage is still high and I'm still overweight. 😔
But!
Not giving up! Doing my best to keep going. To kick my eating disorder's a$$ and show it who's boss... 😊 Hopefully... 😉 -
I've hit a weight plateau again.
And I fear it's my snacking that's working against me...
So I need my brain to snap out of it, so I can resist the urges better again.
I try to stay positive and active.
Any tips for beating a plateau, except for snacking less? 😊#PixysFitJourney #WeightJourney

Day two of my test comparing scales, their weights and other numbers.
I can't Alt text *all* info of some of the images. But I'll do my best to highlight the most important ones (for now).
My watch can't measure weight, so that's just the other numbers that count. There's 3 different scales involved, two at home and one at the gym.Edit: CW the images due to mention of weights.

Tried some interval again.
5 minute warm up at 5,2 kmh.
1 minute jog at 6,6.
3 minute walk at 5,4.
Jog again. Total of 5 jogs.
Walked at 5,4 till the 30 minute mark.
Cooling down at 5 for 4 minutes. Then slowly down to 4,5 for one minute. -
One of the harder exercises for me. I don't know why, but the shoulder press has always been a challenge. But I keep using it and hopefully I'll get better at it with time. 😊 Am at 18 kilos now.
-
Just tried the interval/incline training I made yesterday.
It was challenging for sure! But I made it.
According to my watch, I burned 236 kcal. Not too shabby for 30 minutes.
Well, it's a good count for me at least. 😊 -
I forgot to share my graph from yesterday's hour on the crosstrainer.

Yes! Another hour on the crosstrainer. Starting at level 3, working up to 10.
1-55 minutes, slowly building up the levels
55-60 a cooling down on level 1.#PixysFitJourney #Fitness #SamsungHealth #Crosstrainer #FitAfter40

Yes, I did it again!
It's still hard, every time around the 40 minutes time, when I ge to setting 8 and up, it gets harder.
Every time I think of switching back the intensity. But then I remember I did it yesterday. So I can do it even it if means putting more effort in.
And isn't that why I am at the gym??💪🏼 🏋🏼♂️ 💪🏼

It's been a long time since I was able to do this: spend an hour on the crosstrainer.
The first 55 minutes I slowly upped the level of intensity from 1-10. The last 5 minutes were my cooling down on level one, using just my legs. -
When it's 4:15AM and you are putting on the "active shoes" again... Love my early morning workouts 💪🏼
-
Ridingthe seated bike at the gym again.
Checking all Toot notifs.
Writing for my blog.
Feeling good about myself... 😊
Used the scale this morning. Weight stayed the same! While it's no victory, it's the first time in a while I didn't gain any weight.
Hopefully I can turn this depression around and get on the right #FitJourney again! -
Back at the gym. Working on some bike cardio while checking Mastedon, Bird app and WordPress.
I ways use my hour's ride to work on social media and I love it. Makes the time fly by and I can connect with all my friends again.Thank you to those who already followed me! If you're on a health journey as well, let's connect so we can support each other!

My heart rate zones this morning on the #Crosstrainer
It's hard work for me but I really like these zones to train in.
Some days I wish I had a home gym, besides my hike (and dusty rower 😂). I'd love a crosstrainer and treadmill at uom as well...
If only money and space were no issues. 😇#PixysFitJourney #Fitness #FitAfter40 #SamsungHealth #HeartRateZones
