#Pixii n’a donc pas fait un mauvais choix dans son modèle sachant qu’elle est une petite entreprise.
Reste la question du prix pour des unités à si petite échelle, est-ce que 4000€ HTVA est juste ? Comme le présente le reviewer GXace dans sa vidéo: c’est en mettant les mains de la cambouis que l’on réalise la réalité économique et technique de fabriquer quelque chose comme un appareil photo télémètre.

On m'as soufflé a l'oreille que le Pixii n'embarquerait qu'une vulgaire copie d'un Raspberry ... plus de 4000€ pour un l’équivalent d'un Raspberry (on parle pas du capteur, juste de la carte qui pilote le tout) ça pique, puis ça semble tout bugué.

Our latest European shiny alternative is Pixii 🇫🇷, a French camera manufacturer. 📷
The company was founded in 2017 by David Barth, an entrepreneur who worked on Linux development for Ubuntu for almost 10 years, helping to develop and make Ubuntu more accessible.
He couldn't find the photo camera he wanted, so he decided to make one.
Pixii cameras are designed and made in Besançon, a city famous for its watchmaking and precision engineering. The final assembly of the camera happens there, but the parts that make up the camera come from different places. The mechanical parts are made in the Vosges region of France, while the electronic components are sourced from Germany and China.
The company's graphical designer, Isabelle Colas, has experience from the luxury and watchmaking industries, and she is responsible for the #Pixii cameras' elegant design. Her work has won the company awards like the Red Dot Design Award.

Gerade wollte ich Pixii eine Mail schreiben und mal nachhören, wann denn wohl mit Produktion und Versand des "Mitte Oktober“-Produktionslaufes zu rechnen sei.
Und was muss ich entdecken? Mails von Pixii landeten bei mir im Spam (warum auch immer?!). Und sie schrieben schon am 16. Okt., dass meine Kamera nun montiert werden würde. Außerdem kam just heute eine Versandankündigung. :-)
Und das beste: ich bekomme gar nicht die bestellte Kamera, sondern das aktualisierte Modell #Pixii+ :-) -
Hmm, ein Tri-Elmar 18-21-24 wäre wohl (für mich ;-)) viel praktischer als das tatsächliche 16-18-21.
An der demnächst erwartete #Pixii (Crop-Sensor 1,5) sieht das natürlich schon wieder anders aus.
An einer M8 oder M8.2 (Crop 1,3) noch anders. (Ist bestimmt kein Zufall, dass das Tri-Elmar parallel zur M8 erschien.) -
So, yesterday I finally managed to have a short walk with my new Pixii. All three pictures are straight out of camera in DNG format, imported to Luminar Neo and exported as JPG, no edits, no cropping. All pictures are taken with a Zeiss Biogon 2.8/21 ZM, aperture ~16, bright sun/daylight. #pixii
