Just an animation I made in GIMP. IIRC I got the continuous melting effect by repeatedly applying the Wind filter and rotating between three different constant seeds (used to randomize the filter).

Differential
Manipulation I did using pixel sorting effects combined with edge detect. I also added neon colors in a lot of areas. The colors used towards the center of the image are an RGBCYM-based split-complementary color harmony composed of red, cyan-green, and cyan-blue.

One of my favourite techniques with Glitch photography is pixel sorting, where 'a horizontal or vertical line of pixels in an image [are arranged] based on ... each pixel’s luminosity, hue or saturation' (Datamoshing[.]com).
