💙 Beautiful day in #NorthCarolina! Perfect sunny weather, and warm without being hot. My neighbors are out in their yards. Birds are singing, wild squirrels and bunnies playing in my backyard.

💙 I started a #Pixelfed account on gram.social today. That was kind of an adventure. I don't recommend the (free) Pixelfed app for #Android. I paid $2 USD for the #Pixelix app, and that seems to work pretty well.

💙 My #dog has not had another pee accident, so I guess I just added too much water to his evening meal the other day! Otherwise he seems fine. He has been hanging out on the Big Boy Bed with me all day while I putzed around with Pixelfed.

any #Pixelix | #Pixelfed (happens on both iOS apps) admins or users experience a sign in bug where, for either iOS app, a user signs in, but the app itself stays in a non-authorized state, so the user sits in the browser window within the app? and then, a user must close the mini browser window, sign in again, and then they're presented with the authorize screen? but wait, there's more - sometimes clicking the authorize button does nothing?

We integrated Plausible analytics in the Pixelix homepage.

Plausable is an open source, privacy focused analytics solution. We are self hosting it and a cool feature is that it's possible to make the stats page public. Of course we enabled it :)

When visiting a user profile on Pixelix, a small icon at the top is indicating the Fediverse software which the profile is using. This icon can be clicked to open a dialog with more information about the software and the server.

Previous versions of Pixelix fetched this data from FediDB. With our latest Pixelix update we exchanged the FediDB dependency with our own service called FediSea.

I had absolutely no time to work on #Pixelix or #Loopy for the past few weeks because i had so much to do for university. But that changes during christmas holidays.

Yesterday i started working on the next features for #Pixelix. Since the bookmarking-API works again, we are re-implementing the bookmarking-button. And i am experimenting with connecting different APIs like #FediDB for additional data.

The development of #Loopy will be postponed until the release of any kind of API docs.

We migrated the translations for Pixelix from Crowdin to Weblate. The reason for this was that we had reached the limit of Crowdin's free plan.

A huge thank you to @weblate for accepting Pixelix for the free libre-plan. 🫶🏼

I use #pixelix for my Android #pixelfed client as I feel very uncomfortable with pixelfed app that is very janky, slow, and lots of questionable UI/UX design.

Including, but not limited to:
1. "Back" button does not close the app. Rather, it takes to previous pages when it is unnecessary.
2. Cannot see the list of profiles that like a post. Pixelix has this feature.
3. Every press of a button feels like it's loading a whole new page, adding to the slow navigation.

I've been playing around with #pixelix for a day and it's a game changer compared to the official #pixelfed app.

The UI looks good, scrolling through posts is very smooth, comment trees actually make sense, collections appear on people's profiles, there's a handy button for reading the alt-text, you can install it from f-droid without adding external repositories.

#Phanpy is an awesome Mastodon client that I use on desktop AND mobile (it's seriously that awesome)

#Pixelfed is getting better every day and #Pixelix the Pixelfed client just got a new bugfix release!

And running my own little #gotosocial instance is also a lot of fun.

Really cool stuff and I'm happy to be part of this new approach to social media.

现在有一个办法，就是先关闭2FA，登录完后再开启2FA。
（所以这个Bug一年了也不修吗，哈基Impressia你这家伙......）
但是个人认为“Impressia for Pixelfed”是在Apple生态里最好的Pixelfed软件，作为开源免费软件，默认采用瀑布流，支持免费更改软件图标、主题、菜单栏、颜色风格、头像方圆...
