I temporarily changed default browser on my /e/OS Android from @vivaldibrowser to @Waterfox and it worked. Sweet!

Now I have both #Pixeldroid and #Pixelix. I think @dnkrupinski was right – Pixelix seems nicer. But I'll give them both a try.

@dnkrupinski one weird thing is, both in #pixeldroid and #pixelix –I have to enter the sever and authorize every single time I start the app. It doesn't persist the server URL (pixelfed.social) or the authorisation. Very weird.

Also it seems to open a web view with my Vivaldi android browser, it's not a real app.

@Ilest13h12 Pixelis or Pixelix? In case you meant the latter, its creator posted a message the other day saying that development is continuing.

But you're right, I haven't found a Pixelfed client yet that truly "just works". They all have some pretty annoying bugs or lack of features.

There's also #PixelDroid which I haven't tried in a while. That one does at least seem to continue being updated pretty consistently.

具体来说就是在“Impressia for Pixelfed”登录某实例，如果账户开启了2FA，会停留在实例主页而不是进入Authorize页面，而没有开启2FA的账户可以显示Authorize页面正常登录。（大部分人没有开启2FA，所以不用关心这个Bug）
现在有一个办法，就是先关闭2FA，登录完后再开启2FA。
（所以这个Bug一年了也不修吗，哈基Impressia你这家伙......）
但是个人认为“Impressia for Pixelfed”是在Apple生态里最好的Pixelfed软件，作为开源免费软件，默认采用瀑布流，支持免费更改软件图标、主题、菜单栏、颜色风格、头像方圆...

You didn't want to know, but edit a photo on #Pixeldroid and it warns you an edited version of a post will lose all the likes and comments it has. When you cancel the edit process it wanrs you that cancelling the edit with lead to a removal of the post. What gives? #ui #ux #serioustrouble #firstworldproblems

Myślę, że to dziwne, że twórcy #Pixelfed, powstającego w kontrze do korporacyjnych social mediów, zupełnie ignorują użytkowników, którzy chcieliby zainstalować ich aplikację bez korzystania ze sklepu Google.

Apki Pixelfeda ciągle nie ma w głównym repozytorium F-Droid, a ich własne repo ostatni raz było zaktualizowane 2 października.

Na szczęście są #PixelDroid i #Pixelix.

#Tusky may work at least partly with #Pixelfed. Not really sure, how Pixelfed support the #Mastodon client #API.

There exist some specific apps for Pixelfed like #Pixeldroid and others.
