I had the original #Swype keyboard on my #Pixel4, but my new #PixelFold would not let me install it. I didnt like any of the alternatives i tried, and reluctantly used GBoard, but, even though Jordan Spencer didn't like it, I discovered i did like the #AnySoftKeyboard. So thanks for the reference.

Fage an die #Crowd bzgl #Smartphones
Wenn ich auf der Suche nache einem kompakten #Smartphone bin, und Wert auf lange Sicherheitsupdates lege, die verfügbaren #Fairphones 4 und 5 der Person aber zu teuer sind.
Gibt es da Alternativen?
Bin kurz über #Pixel4 und #Pixel5 gestolpert, aber die sind mit Oktober 2023 auch nicht mehr versorgt.
#LineageOS und co zwar möglich, nur müsste allfälliger Support durch mich #Remote erfolgen
Danke euch, falls ihr hier Tipps habt.

My #CalyxyOS phone, for about a week now, has been unable to read the battery on my #Pixel4.
If I disconnect if from power, it just turns off after about a minute- making this not useful as a cell phone.
I hoped they'd fix this in an update, and there was an update- no fix. I'm running Stable.
This, along with not being able to use google play services in a sandbox, may push me to go back to #grapheneos
Anyone else in the same boat or have suggestions?

Very disappointed during my initial testing.
The Pixel 4 Soli chip is tiny and maybe that's the problem with detection. Tried the gestures with the included Pokemon demo and it sucks! IT SUCKS!
How did this fall through the cracks during Google's testing? Perhaps rushed through deadline?
