#iodeOS hat aktuell eine inoffizielle Version für das #Pixel8a. Habe ich gestern herausgefunden, da ich mich auch dafür interessiere.community.iode.tech/t/unoffici…
Allerdings kann der Bootloader nicht gesperrt werden
Note that with these unofficial builds the bootloader can not be re-locked. Maybe someday I will get the build process to support this. In the meantime, in my understanding, an unlocked bootloader is only a risk to an “evil maid attack”, your data is encrypted and safe unless your unlock code is compromised.

Since a few weeks I have an issue with getting a location on my #grapheneos #pixel8a. It takes up to 5 minutes to get a location where is no interruption to the sky. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? The only changes on my Phone where I think could effect this is the update to #android16 and I changed the mobile service provider.

#GrapheneOS stellt das dunkle Design nicht um. Ich habe die Zeiten manuell eingetragen, aber es passiert nichts. Weder von hell zu dunkel, noch von dunkel zu hell.

So it's phone migration day (pixel 6a -> 8a)
And once again I experience how bad the android phone migration process is.
Why can't it just copy everything over ? I really shouldn't have to reconfigure my various email accounts / banking / social media apps etc etc.

I use CalyxOS on a Google #Pixel8a.
EOS is often very back when it comes to security updates.
I think there are problems with blocking the boot loader under EOS. -

Interesting twist: I just took a photo of my yellow blanket with my old Pixel 5 and my new Pixel 8a.
On my laptop screen the look pretty similiar. So I was wrong. It's not the Pixel 8a's camera fault, but its screen's.
So I guess the Pixel 8a's screen calibration is too cool.

I bought a Pixel 8a for my niece. And what I don't like about is its overly aggressive white balancing and the saturation is too low.
Colorwise my old Pixel 5 takes better photos!

Falls sich jemand in der Welt für _mein_ Handy interessiert...Es ist ein #Pixel8a geworden.
#GrapheneOS per Webinstaller (die Inbetriebnahme meines Dienst-iPads war um ein Vielfaches schwerer und nerviger!).Privat- und Dienstapps sauber getrennt (abends und am Wochenende Ruhe!), Google-Sandbox fühlt sich ok an.
Eine Umzugsapp habe ich nicht gefunden, das war aber auch so ok.
Merci à /e/OS, vous êtes fab, ma decision est _pour_, il n'est pas _contre_ :D

Am I just missing the option to force a PIN unlock after a certain period of time instead of fingerprint biometrics on @GrapheneOS ? My understanding is randomly the PIN is required instead of biometrics for screen unlock. Would be nice to set a time period that is enforced?

Went to see the Pixel 8 and 9 today to see if they fit into my hand. They don't, they are both ridiculously large still, I hate phones I'm so sick of this.
I hope they make a mini version one day because I'd love to use Graphene OS
