At #PixarPalsPlaytimeParty in the #FantasylandTheatre in #Disneyland for #PixarFest , there's also a photo op for #ItsABugsLife, and included in that is a box of Casey Jr. cookies. The "nutrition facts" caught my eye. 8,000 calorie diet seems ... high? And there's always a disclaimer about what could inadvertently be included, but the last line seems like more than you should expect? And, the mis-spelling is *not* mine. 1/2

Had a closer look at the #PixarPalsPlaytimeParty in the #FantasylandTheatre in #Disneyland for #PixarFest . Lots of fun backdrops and characters too. Missing from these pics are the areas for Brave and Luca, which are on the main level. #MonstersInc #UpMovie 1/3

Friends got the mixed emotions popcorn (ube-flavored popcorn with M&Ms, freeze-dried Skittles and pretzel sticks) from #TroubadourTavern , and I had a taste. Really liked it all, very tasty. #Disneyland #PixarFest

Lunch yesterday was at #JollyHolidayBakery , and I had the "Silenzio Bruno" sandwich, with ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone, lettuce, tomato, pickled onion, pepperoncini, and Italian dressing on an Italian roll, with house-made chips. I liked the sandwich, and with everything chopped up, you got a good taste mix in every bite. The house-made chips were good too, crispy and not oily. #PixarFest #Disneyland

It's actually the best fireworks show they've had in a while in that the fireworks are a significant and spectacular part of the show, as opposed to the focus being the visual projections. 1/3

Because there aren't many festival booths, instead of a book, they have a little flyer to show you what's available at each booth and where each booth is located. #PixarFest #DisneyCaliforniaAdventure

Red panda bao (pork and vegetable stuffed bao) with chile-garlic sauce. They definitely know how to make the bao dough - good texture on this as with other bao at the resort. The filling had nice flavor. The sauce was a little lacking. It wasn't very spicy but I didn't taste any garlic. A garlic sauce would have added some extra flavor. #PixarFest #DisneyCaliforniaAdventure

Smoked fire wood BBQ spiced Impossible chicken with hot mustard sauce, pickles and charred onions. The charred green onions were nice. There was very little BBQ sauce, and I didn't notice any hot mustard sauce. Hot mustard would have helped a lot. I had a taste of the not-chicken, and it definitely needed seasoning. #PixarFest #DisneyCaliforniaAdventure

Ratatouille pizzetta, topped with mozzarella, eggplant, squash, zucchini, a drizzle of tomato sauce and a wedge of French camembert. I loved this dish. Ratatouille on a small pizza with a wedge of cheese! Perfect! #PixarFest #DisneyCaliforniaAdventure

Mood swing - half joyful yellow comforting mac & cheese and half angry red hot mac & cheese. I was glad they offered the half and half combo, and I love the name. The regular mac &cheese was very tasty. The red hot one mac & cheese was definitely very spicy, which built as you ate more. I can handle fairly spicy foods, but even with a half order, I could only eat about half of it. I can't imagine having a full order of it. #PixarFest #DisneyCaliforniaAdventure

We did wander over to the #FantasylandTheatre for a bit to check out the #PixarPalsPlaytimeParty, and it appears that in between dance party segments, they show shorts. (With my luck, the short they showed while I was sitting there was Bao. 🙄 Yep, I left.)

But it would be cool to have a dedicated space just showing the shorts in succession for folks to enjoy. #Disneyland #Pixar #PixarFest 2/2

So the building previously known as the #MagicEyeTheatre #MagicEyeTheater in #Tomorrowland sits empty. For #PixarFest, wouldn't it have been cool if they'd used the theatre to show #Pixar shorts, to honor the legacy and beginning of the company? #Disneyland 1/2

The husband wanted the #PizzaPlanet #PizzaPlanetTruck #PopcornBucket, so we picked that up from #AlienPizzaPlanet where it comes with bread sticks instead of popcorn. It is super cute and incredibly detailed, even on the strap. Great job. #PixarFest #Tomorrowland #Disneyland #ToyStory

Tried the cosmic chili pasta (jalapeno-cheddar pinwheel pasta, spiced chili, crushed corn chips and green onions) from #AlienPizzaPlanet today. Very simple but I really liked it. Little bit of heat in the sauce but not too bad. I think it's odd to call it pinwheel pasta cause I'd call them wagon wheels, which would seem to go better with theming to Woody, but ok. #PixarFest #Tomorrowland #Disneyland
