Now I agree with Pitch Meeting that the Boba Fett series was disappointing, but I take issue with the jab reducing his role in the original SW trilogy to being "briefly in it". Fett was a menacing presence in Empire, who tracked Han Solo and tipped off Darth Vader that he and his companions were headed to Cloud City. He claimed Han Solo - frozen in carbonite - to collect the bounty put on him by Jabba the Hutt. More than just "in it".
