  3. CW: Food pic, meat

Looking for a sausage & #beans #food picture in my #photoArchive I came across this "Colourful Cultural Chilli Con Carne" photo I took back in #2012.

    Ingredients:
    #FieldPeas (#Kapucijners, #PisumSativum var. #arvense)
    spiced #pork 'kebab'
colourful veggie mix (carrots, corn, green peas, bell pepper, IIRC)
    #periPeri garlic sauce
    pickled silver onions
    pickled gherkin

  4. CW: meat & beans, recipe

@jamestomasino oh, and of course there is the thing I grew up with in the Netherlands:
A very plain and simple #Kapucijners with #spekkies.
    #FieldPeas (#PisumSativum var. #arvense) with fried #lard dice.
Usually served with spoonful of the fat that was rendered out of the lard.

I think it traditionally was eaten with a bit of sugar syrup, though I preferred to eat it with a bit of curry-spiced ketchup.
