Therefore I'm revisiting pianist #PiotrOrzechowski & alto saxophonist #KubaWięcek's amazing Themes Of Dracula album, wherein the #WojciechKilar score to the Francis Ford Coppola film Bram Stoker's Dracula is explored in an #ExperimentalJazz context. Full of delicate beauty, sweeping drama, and mysterious dread - not to mention a subtle use of extended instrumental techniques - this remains my favourite album of 2022.
