A friend is somewhat desperate for a new, temporary housing situation, post-break-up, ideally for now through the next 3-4 months.
Do you know of a potential low-cost living space (roommates? Spare room? sublet?) while they get back on their feet? They're good people, employed at a community-focused non-profit org, non-smoker, and are a member of a marginalized group.

Anyone in the #PioneerValley want a young American Elm? We have like a dozen in our yard, and since they're pretty rare, we'd rather find them a home than just pull them.
UPDATE: it's a slipoery elm. Still native, but much more common.

Does anyone know of any resources in #Massachusetts or even better, the #PioneerValleyMA for when to collect seeds from specific #NativePlants for propagation?
We're rolling forward towards some new native plant things here in Easthampton and we're gonna wanna be able to provide free / low cost plants to as many people as possible.

I want to have a sign made for my yard that says "This yard supports XXX species", with some painted butterflies, bees, etc on it, and where the XXX is for those little numbers you can hang on things as it changes as I see more species.
Anyone know how I would find someone to make it?

New plants in!
Added 3 to types of goldenrod, 2 to types of chokeberry, a mountain laurel, a low red cedar, an iris, a lupine, a pussytoes, an inkberry, sunflowers, and an early meadow rue.

We were walking in the woods yesterday, and trying to capture a bird on Merlin.
Turns out it was a tree frog. Neat! Also, #SeekApp needs to add audio ID!

Had a great #InvasivePlant removal party along the rail trail today in #EasthamptonMA as part of the city cleanup day.
We're hoping to do this regularly and then start counter-planting with #NativePlants !
