What the actual fuck ?!? Today, I received one more letter from the hotel informing me that they'd still charge me for the menstrual blood on the bedding - a few days after I already complained to them and they promised to dismiss the fine.
I went to the reception again, sadly the manager is not on site today and tomorrow before I leave. This push back in next level disgusting.
I will loudly complain about this to the hotel chain and the booking portal.

Since today it's Feminist Action Day, I found it a good date to complain at the hotel. Sadly didn't even need to escalate this to the manager because the receptionist fully agreed that they can't charge me for being a woman.
Still, I will complain by email to the management about this case - even if they eventually don't fine me it is shocking how they considered that.

What the fuck ?
I'm in a hotel right now and I was menstruating last night. Some blood sipped of my slipper and flew on the bedding of my hotel bed. So far, just normal.
Thanks to the room service staff, my bed sheet was changed.
Additionally, a letter showed up in my room with a picture of the blood spot of the bed sheet informing me that I "contaminated" the room along with a fine of 10 EUR.
Has anyone of you encountered such a sexist fine before ?

@virbonus Das ist ne interessante Frage, ob das #PinkTax ist, wenn das Produkt unterschiedlich in der Funktion ist, nicht nur in der Farbe.
Die Frauenklingen sind meiner Erfahrung nach breiter und haben breitere Gleitstreifen weil die weniger im Gesicht, mehr im Intimbereich eingesetzt werden.
Wenn dann die Stueckzahl entsprechend geringer ist, wuerde gleicher Preis eine Quersubventionierung bedeuten.

Ich habe für mich beschlossen, dass ich But noch zum Friseur gehe, wenn dieser für einen simplen Haarschnitt von Frauen nicht deutlich mehr verlangt als von Männern. Wenn es den nicht in Reichweite gibt, dann eben gar nicht. Dann schneide ich mir die Haare vorm Spiegel.
Ich nehme mir vor: Wenn ich Kinderkleidung kaufe oder Spielzeug, kaufe ich explizit für ein Kind. Und ich gehe den Verkäufern auch auf die Nerven, wenn die nach dem Geschlecht fragen.
Ich nehme mir vor, ein Kind unabhängig vom Geschlecht so weit gleich zu erziehen wie es praktisch möglich ist.
Ich habe eine Allergie gegen die #rosahellblaufalle dass alles überall gegendert werden muss, einschließlich #PinkTax dass für Frauen und Mädchen vieles teurer ist.

Die Taschen sollst du als Frau extra kaufen. Phänomen nennt sich #pinktax dass du als Frau mehr Geld ausgeben sollst als ein Mann.
Ich hab schon erklärt, dass ich für einen simplen Haarschnitt nicht mehr bezahlen will als ein Mann. Wenn ich mehr bezahlen soll, greife ich einfach selbst zur Schere. Mir dann auch egal, wie das dann aussieht. Wurde verschiedentlich dafür kritisiert.

I don't have the skills to fix it, so I wanted to get a new one.
All products I've seen so far only come in dark colors like black, gray. Very few of them come in brighter colors like pink or purple. When they do have it in the bright colors, they're clearly labeled as "for women", have less features, look more like handbags, and cost more (from $10-40$ more).
