- let other writers create posts
- send Pingback or Webmention notifications to sites your posts cite and receive them from sites citing your posts
- present paginated lists of posts in HTML and Atom forms
- filter these lists by date or category tag
- perform full-text searches and present their replies
- let readers create comments on a post or another comment, with preview of the comments
- set privileges on who may comment and what may appear in comments
- show, hide, or delete comments and mentions

Which of these features are dispensable?

Webmention is similar to #pingback that was popular with blogs and websites.

Webmention basically sends information to the sites linked that hey, I mentioned your link in my website.

So, if a third-party site is using OSM (as an example) materials but did not include any link back to them, webmention won't be triggered.

Also, one can trigger webmention without actually having a visible link. So, in this case, providing Attribution, since there is no visible link, there still is no Attribution given.

My blog is hosted as a static website on my own domain name. I've been thinking about how the web has been moving towards centralised services like Medium lately, and wondering how decentralised blogs could benefit more from network effects.

I've found #IndieWeb and #webmention / #pingback recently, they look interesting. I like the idea of different blogs replying to each other.

What is there available for this sort of stuff? Also thinking about comments

O dia de hoje é um fato histórico para o Blog do dcvitti, o meu blog. Em 17 de junho, chegamos à marca de cinco mil postagem publicadas oficialmente no maior blog da cidade.

Desde que o blog do dcvitti  ativado, em 25 de agosto de 2009, numa terça-feira às 14h24min, viemos a blogar desde então. Este foi a primeira postagem, “cachaça com limão pra fazer revolução, mas não abuse do limão” publicado e ido ao ar na viração do dia seguinte que poderá ser acessado por este link.

O meu site nunca foi monetizado, pois não acredito nestas coisas. Muito do que foi publicado na plataforma, foi transcrito de outras fontes e como não sendo autor de muitos dos artigos postados, não faz sentido colher os frutos financeiros às custas dos outros. Não é minha conduta e nunca será. O blog do dcvitti é anticomercial e assim, sempre será. Um dia poderemos rever este conceito, mas de antemão, está descartado.

Até o momento, o blog do dcvitti está assim constituído e trago alguns dados estatísticos para enriquecer o conteúdo. Ao todo, o site recebeu 363.053 visualizações, tendo estes, 196.491 visitantes orgânicos. De todos os tempos, está com 5.007 posts publicados, com 12 posts agendados, 17 rascunhos e 1 post privado. O site possui ao todo 291 comentários em posts. Contabilizando os pingback e trackback o site possui 2.072 comentários que estão anexados as postagens.

Além dos posts, o possui 7.036 tags, 8 categorias, 10 páginas tendo apenas 3 ativas. Como se trata de uma plataforma gratuita, o WordPress disponibiliza para estes planos, 3 GB de espaço para utilizar com mídias das mais diversas e até o momento estamos utilizando 1,7 GB (56,7%), totalizando 5.567 mídias, sendo a maioria imagens de extensão JEPG/PNG. Ainda faltam consumir 1,3 GB e temos 43,3% de espaço restante para upload.

A melhor visualização do site foi em 7 de abril de 2013, onde alcançou em um único dia 3.632 visualizações, o maior de todos. O dia mais popular do blog é na sexta-feira, com uma taxa de 21% das visualizações, sendo a hora mais popular é as 02:00, com 9% das visualizações. O mês histórico do blog do dcvitti foi em novembro de 2016. Neste ano, o site recebeu 10.709 visualizações, 8.009 visitantes, 25 curtidas e 4 comentários. A publicação “Águas Mortais, documentário da Discovery sobre a tragédia de 2008 no morro do Baú, Ilhota“ recebeu neste mês, 6.414 visualizações. Quanto ao ano com maior tráfego no site, foi em 2016 e recebeu 49.106 visualizações, 33.075 visitantes, 78 curtidas e 22 comentários.

Em todo tempo, o item que mais recebeu views no blog foram a “página inicial/arquivos” com 75.951 cliques. Das postagens, a publicação “Faça seu próprio Keep Calm And…” rendeu até agora 18.370 visualizações. Quanto ao pico

Quanto aos dados estatísticos do site, o blog do dcvitti possui 120 seguidores, sendo 109 direto pela plataforma WordPress e 11 por e-mail. Conectados a rede, possuímos 1.354 seguidores pelo Twitter, 678 pela página no Facebook e 393 pelo Tumblr.

De acordo com as estatísticas da plataforma WordPress, as publicações no site estão assim divididas:
