The first of tonight‘s beers is 8 trill pils from Crowns and Hops Brewery of Vista, California. This Pilsner comes in at 5% ABV and it’s very crisp and easy to drink. There is not an IBU statement but you can taste the hops, but the bitterness is fairly mild #beer #pilsner

First sip is a dramatic swing through bread dough, tartness, bitterness, lemons, a spike of yeast, and a trailing bitterness.

A lager that drinks like a pale ale. The nose is malty like a pils, with a hint of hops. When it hits your tongue there's an earthy hop bitterness that lasts. Very carbonated (see the bubbles in the pic), clean, perfectly balanced through the finish. A great hot weather beer, and might be a way to introduce your IPA friends to other styles. Not unreasonable at $14 for 4 pint cans.
