I'm happy that at least the setup looks sort of intriguing, since otherwise my attempts at reproducing a century old scientific experiment are utterly failing. We will get there at some point.

Preparing new crystal experiments and the most suitable transistors I have turn out to be these new-old-stock in their similarly new-old-bag. These were designed for driving core memory arrays.
