I just PAID again for #PIDToolbox Pro. And it is such a shit software. I mean what it does is genius, but the user interface and every interaction with it is terrible. You have to install Java and the Matlab Runtime (>2.5GB!). It does not integrate well into the Mac ecosystem at all, and I guess Windows is a similar experience...
I'd actually PAY a monthly fee for a nice #PID #tuning web service. #FPV

Jedna zastávka, dva různé označníky. Vlevo klasický červený, vpravo nový ve vzoru "Čitelná Praha". Pro mě je tedy jednoznačně čitelnější ten červený. Černý je hůře viditelný, ponurý, navíc působící všedním dojmem.

Tak mi dneska došlo, že vlastně k Lítačce můžu mít 2 výpůjčky Rekola (růžová sdílená jízdní kola) zadarmo, a v centru je to fakt super a v nějaké podobě je tahle sdílená mobilita fakt budoucnost.
Mechanicky všechno fungovalo hladce. Akorát appka po roce nepoužívání potřebovala přeinstalovat a ještě pak zrestartovat a Lítačka po mě při propojení chtěla opakovaně vyřešit tak složitou captcha, že jsem definitovně prokázal, že jsem robot. Ale přesto jsem se kupodivu nakonec svezl...

I don't understand half of this, & generally avoid Google products if I can; don't do cloud, and stay un-logged in when possible.
I haven't enjoyed/respected Google since the genocide of the beloved #GooglePlus community, and the repeal of #DontBeEvil ...
BUT... even as a non-paranoid, non-Google-platform user who studies #media & #words ... Is this not ominous?

В статье представлена модель управления температурой и давлением на примере промышленного горизонтального автоклава периодического действия, используемого в индустрии по производству кормов для домашних животных. Цель публикации — демонстрация методов оптимального управления ( LQR ) и стохастической фильтрации ( LQG/Kalman Filter ) для решения задачи точного поддержания режима в условиях взаимосвязи физических параметров (температура и давление в замкнутом объеме) и зашумленных измерений. Проект реализован на языке Python в парадигме Model-Based Design , разделяющей физику процесса, модель управления и среду моделирования. Он включает постановку задачи, описание решения и его программную реализацию в виде python-пакета, адаптированного для работы в Google Colab. Среда автоматически сохраняет все артефакты каждого цикла моделирования — конфигурацию и результаты. Такой подход позволяет начать с практики моделирования (симуляции), чтобы затем с большим пониманием перейти к изучению теории, потенциально снижая порог входа в проблематику оптимального управления. Модульная архитектура делает проект относительно универсальным шаблоном: заменив модель объекта, этот же каркас можно адаптировать для решения других задач MIMO -управления с той же размерностью. Будь то стабилизация мобильного робота (скорость/угол поворота) или управление полетом (тангаж/горизонтальная скорость).

Thinking about perspectives. I started off as a classical #Openaccess repository. Then I embraced so called #CRIS or #RIMS functionalities to integrate @ORCID_Org This led to other #PID driven entities like projects or journals. … If this was already happening why not include #metadata only as well? We have the data, researchers might be inspired for Green OA.

Обычно всё это заканчивается с моей стороны очередной филиппикой на mastodon или в каком-нибудь приватном чате. Но на сей раз не буду этим ограничиваться и напишу целый пост. Вот с какого невинного вопроса всё началось: А почему UID начинаются с 0, но PID начинаются с 1? Если совсем коротко: в Unix PID (идентификаторы процессов) начинаются именно с 0! PID 0 просто не отображаются в пользовательском пространстве через традиционные API. PID 0 запускает ядро, а затем практически уходит на покой, только немного участвует в работе планировщика процессов и в управлении питанием. Кроме того, на просторах Интернета доминирует заблуждение о PID 0, всё из-за одного ошибочного утверждения в Википедии, которому уже 16 лет. В заключении к посту я дам несколько расширенную версию этого короткого ответа, но если хотите до него дойти вместе со мной — давайте разберём достаточно длинную среднюю часть. Но, конечно же, любой желающий может просто загуглить, что такое PID 0, верно? Зачем мне вообще всё это писать?
