  1. In other @rpimag news I'm super pleased to see that my #picomite article is in the latest print issue. Picomite is so cool. Full boot to basic, but modern basic, nice documentation and really usable! I loved exploring it.

  2. Last week I ported The Bannochburn Legacy to my DIY Picomite deck. Hopefully it will work on PicoCalc too. Started gathering my ports here: github.com/AntoniaLivia79/Pico. An enjoyable little adventure. Working on porting Dogstar from TRS-80 Basic but nothing yet to show #picomite

  3. In a spare moment ported Duke of Dragonfear from The Giant Book of Computer Games to Picomite BASIC/ MMBasic. Similar to a Wumpus game but with Dragons. github.com/AntoniaLivia79/Pico. May need tweaks to work on PicoCalc #picomite #mmbasic

  4. #picomite Creating a little buddy in Picomite BASIC

  5. #basic #picomite #rp2350 porting the one button jewel research project/game from @chludens over to Picomite BASIC on an rp2350. I'm using my own deck which has a 640 x 480 display but it may work on a PicoCalc with tweaks. github.com/AntoniaLivia79/Pico if anyone wants to try

  6. Unfortunately the ILI9341 screen that arrived today is a little borked, but, apart from that, I have got a #Picomite with a little display up and running!

  7. What do you do before bed? Me, ah well I make a weird computer from a #pico running #picomite and an #m5cardputer running a Microcom serial monitor firmware... totally useless but a fun distraction! Could be the most ridiculous #cyberdeck

  8. The new issue of @rpimag has just landed on my doormat.. there's a heap of excellence (Rob Miles #midi #pico stuff is ace!) and my contributions are part 2 of the #meshtastic series looking at building a solar node and using things like ATAK. I've also written a review of the fab #Picocalc from Clockworkpi. Hoping to write more about #PicoMite and PicoCalc in the coming!

  9. Is anyone interested in #MMBasic (aka #MicroMite or #PicoMite #BASIC) here?

It's a sort of #retrocomputer BASIC running on a modern microcontroller. It talks VGA and stuff.

I was thinking of getting some boards made: the current design is all pre-made SMD using an RP2040. It would be nice if some folks in #Canada wanted some to cut costs

    Here's the current hardware revision

  10. All these sensors can be connected to #RP2040-LCD board programmed in #Picomite #MMBasic the tiniest basic-computer with buildin display in the world.
