    Some of you might have been following my occasional posts about building and developing for the Raspberry Pi Pico GameBoy Micropython DIY handheld, designed by YouMakeTech.

    If you grab this month's issue of The MagPi magazine (order or download for free at magpi.raspberrypi.com/issues/1), you'll find detailed instructions on how to build your own, which supplement and expand on YouMakeTech's original guide at youmaketech.com/raspberry-pi-p

    It's an amazing little device to develop for. There's all the appeal of a fantasy console, with restrictions that make it easy to keep your software from getting out of hand and a resolution low enough to design sprites for on squared paper, but it's actually a real physical handheld.

    I don't even have a 3D printer - I found a local printing service via CraftCloud (craftcloud3d.com/).
