-Yes, Shaw's final evaluation was heart-warming, but I didn't think quite enough groundwork had been laid for it in the earlier part of the season. It was a crucial bit too radical a change from everything else we'd seen of him.

Hate to be wet blankets, but @WardQNormal and I were underwhelmed by #PicardFinale despite being lifelong #Trek fans. It seemed clunky, with overdetermined fan service and about 3 places it should have ended. Michael Dorn, Jeri Ryan and Jonathan Frakes were wonderful, but sigh.
