As I was watching last night's #SuperbOwl, my #dog and my wife's dog were laying next to me on my couch. At one point, my wife's dog decided to use my dog as a place to rest her head while she stared at me (she was probably wondering what the commotion was).

I occasionally try to get my #staffy, Gryffin, to sleep on the pile of pillows next to my side of the bed (as hist #pibble predecessor, Lady — pictured — did). However, he's very much, "nah, I'm good: this crate is cozy."

Both Gryff and Lady are/were "velcro" dogs. Used to refer to Lady as "hip-lamprey". Gryff might be even more clingy than she was: she was satisfied to lay on the couch against me, Gryff generally prefers to lay on me. Yet, for all that, he prefers his crate for overnight sleeping.
