Back in March, the Royal College of Physicians did a survey about "Physician Associates", non-doctors who work in medical settings.
Then they had an EGM where the survey results were presented in a biased way.
Now there's an independent report about that EGM, which I found quite interesting. (Process-geekery! Governance! Bad stats!)

There must be
☑️regulation
☑️clear limits to practice
☑️adequate & direct supervision
☑️clearly state they are not doctors -
🧵Myself and >300 other doctors have called for a debate regarding #PhysicianAssociates as in this weeks @bmj_latest as they are not regulated, there are potential medicolegal risks not just for PAs but those supervising.
