Researchers at @Fraunhofer_IOF have developed an ultra-compact #photonsource for #quantumcommunication that is optimized for use in #space. The new source will be presented by Fraunhofer IOF from January 28-30 at @spie.org #PhotonicsWest.

One interesting takeaway this week at Photonics/Quantum West 2024 is the importance of quantum networking towards key quantum application areas. For example, enabling capability, say, to connect quantum computing modules with high fidelity. It may look "low TRL" but this is important, strategic work
