last night after hearing what was going on with #photogsocial I took time to seek out artists & artposters on instances other than photog.social and mastodon.art, and followed ~15 new-to-me users.
today I found ~5 more interesting people among the refugees. I'm sure there are some I've missed.
if you like art… keep an eye out for introduction posts. people are migrating, often after losing hundreds of followers due to the actions of the new photog.social admins.

A 1930s - a plaque shows 1939 - finished 1948 of Portland Ashlar, an art deco and Grade II listed building.Back in the day - early 1990s - I was onsite Project Engineer/Manager on a Comms & IT Project (Blown Fibre) and am, as you might imagine, fond of the building.

Thus far I'm suitably impressed and especially so, at the price these things go for.
The lamp seems straight forward enough and robust - if it proves durable/reliable I will consider adding another lamp to go with this one.
