I got a S26 ultra...
Why does it look more like a iphone then a samsung. The entire ui just feels like a downgrade and my custom themes dont do as much as they used to, my S20 has just a way more colourful ui with the theme i use and the drop down menu on my s26 ultra is just some milkglass apple shit. Theres also no more sms app, its just google messages now. Also now I need to go into the file explorer settings to enable custom network storage. In addition why cant it record 720p at 60fps and it can only record 8k at 30fps, thats 6 more fps then my s20 which is 6 generations older. How tf did it take 6 generations to get 6 more fps like wtf. Also when it comes to resolution, the S26 ultra has 40 less vertical lines then my s20 in HD+. Also on the lock screen theres some bullshit and to go into its settings i need to enable this personalisation shit that allows samsungto track me more. Also this shit came with so many stupid app preinstalled like samsung news or bixby which i set to not install in the installer but usefull stuff like samsung email which is like lowkey the best android email client wasnt installed by default. Also who tf uses samsung news? Im not a korean who lives in samsung land bruh. In addition all the system searchbars are at the bottom of the screen and for some stupid reason i cant add more then 4 fingerprints, thats the same limits as my s7 edge. Another annoying thing is that they removed the optimization widget, so now i cant tell the system to clear ram cause now its using 6,9gb idle(for context it was only liek 6,5gb when i got it). Also for some reason i cant install the latest version of the original angry birds app on it, like why? I can install ancient versions of Microsoft Remote Desktop on it and i can install it perfectly fine on my S20. Also why tf are there 2 sim slots but no microsd slots. Like lowkey just use esim, you can have 20 contracts on one esim chip out of which 2 can be active at once and since samsung clearly wants to save money and sell phones with bigger storage why not just make everyone use esims, apple is doing it and samsung clearly wants to copy apple. Also i was kinda surprised when my phone came with a physical sim. Also for some sus reason samsung can just tell spotify to login into my spotify withotu me ever giving permission to either of them. And finally im gonna end this post by saying that the S26 Ultra can start Minecraft 1.12.2 within a secound... (also its supposed to have the graphical performance of a rtx3050)
