9. When I try to put my phone down, it feels like an inner double-pull:

A vacuum‑cleaner vortex dragging me into the screen – and the moment I ask “Why am I doing this?”, a tiny angry Rumpelstilzchen in me yells: “Absolutely not! We’re not looking at that! That’s what the phone is for!”

I just watch. So much in me says: anything but the feeling — straight into the phone.

8. Next step: Bought an old-school alarm clock. My phone can charge in the living room at night. What happens instead? 😂

Making deals with myself is like political negotiations—lots of talk, little action.
At least humor helps, even when the phone is still right next to me.

6. Self-care as a friendly invitation to consider myself important? My inner slacker is already rolling its eyes.

5. The Kantian question: What is a human?

Today, I was more dog than human. Instead of chasing dopamine clicks on my phone, I had sun on my face and grass under my feet. My dog just rolls in the moment—while I? I’m learning from her that real life doesn’t happen on a screen.

To the question “What is a human?” I definitely don’t want to answer: a digitally living junkie.

Sometimes I wonder when I turned from the kid staring at slot machine junkies in smoky bars into my own smartphone zombie.

My minimalism device is now my endless jackpot—and I’m the player who can’t stop.

My analog fingers lead me into digital addiction. We think we live digitally, but dopamine is still released the analog way.

Part 3: go dumbphone?
-i have 2 jobs that both require whatsap for communication, even on the move
-i need modern banking app
-some functions like navigation and access to webbrowser is sometimes needed on the go so i would need backup smartphone anyway for travel

So, even if i go full dumbphobe i would end up needing a smartone on the side. Like it or not you are living in a digital world honey!
