TL;DR man sollte sehr vorsichtig sein mit der Konzentration auf die Geburtenrate allein und den allerlei davon abgeleiteten Ängsten und Befindlichkeiten - denn diese lassen sich auch sehr leicht für nationale Projekte und die Unterdrückung von Frauen nutzen.
Ich sage nicht, dass wir uns nicht mit Demografie auseinandersetzen müssen - denn diese ist zweifelsfrei im Wandel. Ob allerdings ein "wir müssen die Geburtenrate wieder steigern" überhaupt sinnvoll und ethisch umsetzbar ist, ist eine andere Frage.
Und mit der ethischen Umsetzbarkeit haben sich Religionsgemeinschaften da nicht gerade immer löblich hervorgetan.

"The NHS ... view transition as a response to a medical problem they call ‘gender dysphoria’ or ‘gender incongruence.’ From this starting point it seems appropriate that trans people have to get permission to transition: transness is a medical matter with inherent risks that ought to be controlled by “specialists.” Sometimes those specialists delay or deny permission, but that’s just part of the job. It also makes sense to ask which treatments are “most effective at treating dysphoria” and explore alternative treatments through trials, reviews, consultations, etc. I call this view ‘Pathologization.’"

The bodily autonomy of trans people is bound up with the bodily autonomy of all people, particularly cis women who have also suffered for far too long under the paternalistic medicalising gaze. That’s why I think the Colonel Korns of this world are doomed to fail: they are trying to do medicine and management on a civil rights movement.“

I'm a bit late but I just watched "Why We Can’t Build Better Cities" by #philosophytube (feat. @notjustbikes ranting on #suburbia) which is actually a bait-and-switch into an extremely insightful talk about the (IMHO) greatest challenge our society faces today.
If you at all care about improving the world we live in, I can highly recommend watching this video.
