Surprising find: Luciano Floridi @lucianofloridi one of the most-cited living philosophers, studied information theory because young Floridi, still Catholic, concluded that God's manifestation to humanity must be an information process. So information theory must be a way to learn about God.
He didn't get far with that. But he did become a leading expert in the Philosophy of Information and Digital Ethics, and agnostic.
