since its inception the bourgeois class has been waiting for the flood (Adorno) Tired of waiting it has decided to create its own version with climate change. #philisophy

I finally finished "Horde of the Counterwind" by Alain Damasio.
I can't really say whether I think it's good or bad. I don't think it's possible to judge that objectively. Subjectively, I was a little disappointed in the end. It’s supposed to be the inspiration for Clair Obscure Expedition 33, but it really has very, very little in common with the game’s story or world.
If you’re into highly philosophical fantasy, you’ll find a treasure trove here. If you prefer something more concrete, coherent, and within the bounds of conventional fantasy, you’re better off staying away....

Hype for the Future 54F: The Philosophy
Preamble Since novaTopFlex cannot be in multiple places at once, and since numerous other commitments must override a singular marriage in many distinct cases, the philosophy of novaTopFlex shall maintain the numerous distinctions between each and every distinct community in modern society. Unfortunately, college and career pipelines often discourage spontaneity and events, with late-stage capitalism simply exacerbating the existing problems. Even without the economic obligations, being […]https://novatopflex.wordpress.com/2025/12/24/hype-for-the-future-54f-the-philosophy/

Hype for the Future 28F: More on Minnesota
Even though novaTopFlex is renowned for nearly complete coverage of the State of Minnesota, additional interests in the novaTop community continue to be discovered throughout time. Within the State of Minnesota, the interests can be expressed in surprising ways and at surprising locations, including, but of course not limited to, places and spaces of all shapes and sizes.

John Searle (1932-2025) has passed away. He was famous for his 'Chinese Room' thought experiment.
Computers, hence #AI, cannot think because they lack intentionality in their thinking. They are closed systems, not directed to reality.

6/6 I say that the distinction above between art & design is not a moral value judgment EXCEPT insofar as art requires passionate defending. With gatekeeping defining who lives and dies, artists are pressured to design their work to please the powerful. We attempt to retain as much art as possible within the design, but the tension is there.
Art requires passionate defenders.
Because the intrinsic value of all human existence STILL requires passionate defenders.

In terms of medicine, the majority of human beings, regardless of education, still instinctually assume the Doctrine of Signatures in the absence of a well believed medical treatment.
Which means if something has associations those associations imply connections with other conditions with shared associations.
And in a lot of ways it's how human beings deal with risk and pretty much anything.
We're a spit away from our medieval relatives.

What is a blog?
What makes a website - blog?Is it writing new content in some (random) intervals on time with articles about (random) stuff and with dates? And with main page containing list of all blogposts with titles and dates?
Or sth else?
Because it looks like blog is just a website not about any topic but about author? I dont know. What does makes a website blog... ? -
The only difference between someone you call "good" and someone you call "evil" is whether or not they share your interests.

Personally i don't agree, but I recognize some of the points indicated: an interesting critique on Stoicism:

3 reasons not to be a Stoic (but try Nietzsche instead)

In my opinion, the Apple (Steve Jobs) 'Think Different' campaign from 1997 remains the best advertising copy of all time."
"Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits.
The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can quote them, disagree with them,
glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They push the human race forward.
While some may see them as the crazy ones,
we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think
they can change the world, are the ones who do."© 1997 Apple Computer, Inc.
This is the version read by Steve Jobs

@lolennui There has got to be a hipster joke in here somewhere about a garage band called "Ship of Theseus" where over time they slowly replace all the band members.
Maybe a background joke in an indie movie, where you see them practicing in a neighbor's garage or something, and in each act, they've just replaced one of the band members.

The Shadoks.
These strange creatures invaded our televisions in 1968 and were rampant for most of the seventies in 🇫🇷. The opening of the first episod is a cosmographic treatise of the preposterous Shadokean universe!
