Am I the only one annoyed by "A donor has agreed to match your donation up to £xK"?
Either they have decided to donate £xK or not. If they have, this is deceptive and in fact small donors are being asked to match the big donor, not vice versa. If they haven't and will only give e.g. £0.5xK if the campaign fails, then ... WTF is going through their minds? Conditionalising their charitable giving on, let's be honest, popularity is extending market thinking too far.

If this is the real reason to un-invite the king of #Philanthrocapitalism than we could say that at least one good outcome happened after the publication of (some) of the E. files.
