@classicalmusic At The Philadelphia Orchestra this evening, we performed Bruckner 4 with Herbert Blomstedt. I am still washed in the emotions of this magnificent performance an hour after playing the last note. Nothing showy, just pure musical essence. I haven’t been so affected by a performance since Sawallisch led us, in 2003. If you are able, you should try not to miss the third and last concert Sunday, March 5 at 2 pm.
