  1. New Atlas–Rosetta paper published:

    Corrigibility and Bounded Memory

Memory-Dependent Boundary Dynamics Under Finite Adaptive Capacity

The paper explores three distinct failure geometries:

    • Archive loss (Substrate Decay)
    • Update blockage (Hysteretic Fixation)
    • Communication collapse (Processing-State Distortion)

    The central argument:

"Persistent systems do not survive because they remember. They survive because they retain the capacity to determine when memory must yield to reality."

  2. Phase 6 Paper II is now live:

“Information as Distinction under Boundary-Conditioned Transfer”

    Core invariant:

    Information is not a substance.

It is a distinction successfully transferred across a bounded interface.

    The paper formalises:
    • admissibility filtering (α)
    • interface impedance (Z_int)
    • lossy feature erasure (OR-09)
    • hysteretic memory (SR-07)
    • finite adaptive capacity (C_adapt)

    Validated across:
    • Radon/Thoron diffusion
    • hydrogeological transport systems
    • transformer-runtime AI architectures

    Importantly, the framework explicitly rejects:
    • “everything is information”
    • substrate collapse
    • metaphysical overreach

    The operators may scale.

    The substrates remain non-identical.

    The line remains dead straight.

  3. Phase 6 of the Atlas–Rosetta Framework is now formally open.
Paper I: “Bounded Interface Formalism and Constrained Interaction Realisation”
Core question: Why do causally available trajectories often fail to become realised interactions?
This paper introduces: • interface impedance • admissibility filtering • hysteretic recovery • lossy feature erasure • constrained interaction topology
The framework is explicitly bounded by: • substrate non-identity • falsifiability conditions • anti-drift governance
    Persistence was Phase 5.
    Interaction is Phase 6.

  4. People sometimes ask why a black cat keeps appearing beside the tea cups, balloons, strange physics, and impossible questions inside HybridMind42. 🐾☕

Marvin exists because some ideas become easier to approach through warmth, humour, and ordinary observation.

    He is not “the theory.”
He is a translation layer — helping complex concepts arrive gently enough for curiosity to stay open instead of collapsing under pressure.

    Through Marvin:
    🎈 a balloon becomes persistence,
    🍃 flavour becomes interaction,
☕ tea becomes pacing and exchange.

The goal was never to make science smaller.

The goal was to make wonder feel admissible again.

  5. “Marvin and the Mint Tea” began as a quiet kitchen-table reflection about flavour, tea, coriander, and why different minds can experience the same world so differently.
It slowly became something else: a gentle exploration of interaction, perception, geometry, and the strange places where meaning appears between object and observer.
Sometimes the universe explains itself more clearly through a cup of mint tea than through a blackboard full of equations. ☕🍃🐾

  8. @publicvoit A friend recently told me about the #Phase6 app. I don't really want to give them my data but I would really like to use it to learn vocabulary, facts and so on. The idea behind it seems very simple maybe it can even be implemented within org mode context?

  9. #Phase6

Is feed continuation/pagination/linking (for keeping feed fetches inexpensive, but still allowing access to older episodes, for example)

    something for:

    A) RSS to solve.
    B) podcast:sometag to solve
    C) A+B
    D) Other (i.e. there be dragons)
    E) Nobody cares/not worth the effort.

  10. Current #MCU #Phase5 and #Phase6 as of the end of #Marvel’s #SDCC22 presentation

8 more #Phase6 announcements are expected during #D23

  11. #Marvel allegedly said that #SDCC22 won’t be as big as #D23. I assume this means that they’re saving #Deadpool or #Deadpool3 for #D23, and have more #Phase6 announcements there too since #Phase6 is looking pretty empty rn
