So I started playing Genshin Impact a few days ago, mainly due to a friend of mine being really hardcore about it and wanting to play with them a bit and have another game to play together.

Still only a few hours in, my adventure rank is currently 9 and I think it takes level 16 to unlock multiplayer. To this point, I'm actually kind of enjoying chilling out and exploring around for treasure chests and such.

The game is obviously really trying hard to get you to part with your cash especially with the whole gacha aspect of earning new characters through straight up gambling. It's a bit of a shock after last playing Phantasy Star Online 2 which was probably on the other extreme in terms of fairness where you essentially only paid to get some quality-of-life upgrades like more item storage.

It's pretty, it's large and there's a ton to explore, and since I have zero intent on ever dropping a dime on it, I'm quite happy with the experience of playing it so far.

For what it's worth, it also runs extremely well on the ROG Ally at the standard settings at 1080p, which is how I am playing it. I've heard that it can be a bit rough running on the Steam Deck, but can't say I've tried it there myself.

i've been making stuff.so i'm gonna dump it all here.

i made two videos recently because Slayer is really fun, and it reminds me a lot of playing just with the base gunblade before Luster in base PSO2.

the first video I was still trying to figure stuff out but the second video was my first No-Hit run on like a pretty high difficulty.

I spent a day in base Phantasy Star Online 2 to see that the game is amazing and it was tossed aside for PSO2 new genesis

I had a silly Idea, and that Idea was to spend a day in base PSO2. Now spending a day in base pso2 is something I can't do, but I can spend time there to make up for it. There is something about Base PSO2 that NEW Genesis does not have, and it is that charm. It has that magic feeling of a bygone era of MMORPGs that a lot of new MMORPGs can't seem to capture that feel or maybe they don’t want to. Being able to join an urgent quest that started without you is a great feature. If you joined late, you can still catch up to the players. To hop in and get in the action is great. After that, I fell asleep in the base pso2 lobby and woke up after. And I got back into the action with the seabed, a fun water level. And can I just say I miss the random events you find when you are out and about on the expeditions? They range from mini-boss battles to silly events to get rare drops to you helping out your Auxiliary in combat events. There is always something to do when on expeditions, and it is never the same from point A to point B. And that's why base pso2 is a good game with some features. […]

My thoughts – How i felt about being in the Witching Hour guild

I guess I have one more than about Witching Hour I want to add, and it's more how I personally feel is all. How I been feeling what I been thinking and what I want to do. And this will be a fairly long post. Editor's note: This is a rant or a vent or just both. Something to get off my chest. And I have to make this clear that no one is at fault here. Sure, I don't like how some members act, and things could be better. But no one is at fault. I'm letting off steam. How have I been feeling. Guild has been interesting when I first joined or got asked to join and it was a fun time and was before Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. And there were rough spots pre-NGS and post NGS but I didn't mind it. Or rather, I ignored it. I met some chill people, you could goof off with, and being a member was fun. Then I got asked to become an officer for the guild way back then, even though, I was happy being a regular member and did not care to be an officer. And being an officer, it was not so bad and ignoring other things. As an officer, I just help urgent quests and have to watch chat when users start to become stupid. As you can see, I don't do much. Witching Hour – Some new ideas for reporting

Hello, hello. I think we need to change some things around here. Some small and some big. And players need to do their part as well instead of being quiet as a mine. Given that in a few months we will get the winter update, these changes will be needed. And this gives me a reason to say some things. These are just some personal opinions I have. I want to make that clear. :P Witching Hour Ideas So, I have been hearing this in the past, and currently. There is always one bad apple in a guild that rots the rest. However, sometimes that may not be the case, and I want to try a new system. Is player racist/a problem / an issue? And did you receive more than 1 report about them from more than one member? (if yes) → Give no warning → Watch to see for proof or reports hold any weight (if caught in act and proof has weight) → talk with admins and think well or take action. (if no) take no action as there is smoke but no fire. (watch to see if anything changes) I feel this may be somewhat a better way of handling reports from other players since acting too soon can cause some people to feel the witching hour is not a place they can be without someone being on their case. But have to remember that players and some people are more sensitive to being told to do something or being warned, and may end up leaving without a word. […]

It was fun making logs about Witching Hour progress, I think it is time to slow down on making Witching Hour logs. And so, this will be the last Witching Hour log, it’s fun to log the worthwhile events if any, but I want to go back to pre-Witching Hour logs where I noted my dumb progress. Lol. Each day will be logged that I play or try to play. I want to make that clear that this was done on ship 1. If you ever want people to speak with, you can join a guild, and for the most part, everyone is social in Witching Hour. And if you like to do content, the Witching Hour members have you covered, assuming they are not lazy and are around to help. But they are around to help, most of the time. Phantasy Star Online 2 Witching Hour log 4 – A New Genesis

So, let's do something a little different. I did give a fair warning that I would do something different, and I think it is time, to be honest, and not hold back. Instead of being a witching hour log, it will be a log and something more later on. Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis launch day So, after a lot of delays, we got to play pso2:ngs. And there was a ton of lag, and players getting dc’d, but later on, it got better later on during the night when the server became stable. And when the game was not lagging, it ran super well on the steam version, anyway. I tried the Microsoft store new genesis, and it is very laggy, go with the steam version, less laggy in terms of fps. Killed a level 15 mob at level 10 with other players I and some low-level players started to take on level 15 monsters, it was a hard but fun battle, we did die a lot but I did enjoy the fight, I learned about my class and how to dodge. Once I get to level 15 or higher, I will give fighting the higher monsters another go. […]

Hey, it is time for a pso2 log of things that happen or what I did. It will bleed into June, which to say, it will be things I recalled in late May to June. And like always you may learn something new or not. :3 This witching hour log will be about things and stuff. It will be all over the place in terms of mood from the post, and I talk about some drama at the end, keep that in mind, lol. Let’s start Editor note: There was going to be a whole lot more said here but cut out a lot of things and censored since these posts are meant to be happy. If I do make a log update that is serious and if I don't post it to the server. That means that the log update is full of unfiltered thoughts. c: Dae shows off his might, yet again. The mad lad did the sodam UQ with no units or rings. He was on death's door a few times but dae plays with fire. Death means nothing to this god, as death fears him. I keep telling Dae he is a good hero but the man thinks I am joking. He is a better hero than me. A true legend that dae has become. Joining the Kouki's Birthday Phasion Show EXTRAVAGANZA!!! I am going to try to win, but I am going up against better players in pso2 fashion, and given some had more time to get what they need for fashion, vs someone who started in April of 2021, the odds are not in my favorite, but can't hurt to try, I suppose. If I win, I will be shocked, if I lose, I won't be too shocked if it happens, it is for fun after all, but having mesta to save up for a strong unit would help out a lot in my case since I would be on the path to getting stronger. I should probably try to make a few outfits for this contest, and see if I can do my best. Here’s hoping for the best outcome but whatever. :3 I will probably show off my outfits when I lose.
