#PhotoOfTheDay is a throwback to a visit to the "impossible city" to assist our local SWAT team again with Simulations training, which was good fun and I got a few amusing stories out of it. This was back when I was on the town's SAR team.
This location was former Fort Ord MOUT facility.

i played video games today
moving slightly forward on High On Life
tried to make Organ Trail work - won't launch 🤷♂️
tried to make bit.trip runner work, won't launch
Crayon Physics Deluxe - fun little meditative puzzler. relaxing sounds. you can (attempt!) to do each level elegantly(one object), old school (no bumps!), or (self assessed) awesomely - it keeps your solves so you can review them for awesomeness later. delightful. i enjoyed that immensely, 5 stars
one more round of the training campaign on battlezone #pewpewpew
abalone - secretly a board game somewhere between othello and checkers, but consistently getting my ass beat by the computer on Easy Mode makes it a video game. 3 stars. there is probably some basic logic i am not understanding to win one 😅
also played 2x 4 player games of Bunny Kingdom. another secretly a board game but its so much more intuitive on BGA - the map highlights your drafting options and points impacts. AND i won one. 5 stars.
if we are counting boardgames i also lost a game of forest shuffle dartmore.
