More than 4,000 terrestrial religious radio stations broadcast across the United States, making up about a quarter of all FCC-licensed stations, according to new Pew Research Center analysis. Even if I weren’t an out and proud member of America’s #LGBTQ+ community, I’m sure I’d be disturbed by the newly released findings of a poll conducted by #PEWResearch. However, I’m not particularly surprised by the survey’s results. And that might be the most disturbing thing about it.

Pew Research polled >5,000 U.S. adults Feb -June 2025 using address based sampling and contact via web, email, phone. Sampling reflected adult population by gender, race, education, ethnicity etc etc..
