The smallest was tucked on the seat behind their human. When I saw they were awake I tried petting them gently. They seemed to enjoy it, and eventually rolled over for belly rubs. They had long, soft hair - Pomeranian maybe? I don't know dog breeds very well.
In any case, I'd like to see if I can get #PetTherapy that consists of nothing but me petting and playing with dogs and/or cats. I don't feel up for volunteering or fostering, and our place is a mess. Maybe that's selfish, dunno.
